Pioneer Day

This Pioneer Day was a lot different from other Pioneer Days.  We spent the day together with "Young Marrieds" as one of my previous Relief Society Presidents would call it.  Kayla, Tyson, Shantel and David came down to Provo and spent the day with us.  We had several tentative plans, but as always we just went with the flow and had a great time.  We went to a Stake Breakfast at the park that morning and then made sandwiches and grabbed a bunch of other things for lunch and headed off to the Veterans Memorial Pool.  We spent several hours at the pool playing in the water, playing ultimate frisbee, and bathing in the sun.

When we got to the pool we realized that Provo actually did have a celebration.  It was at the park that was connected to the pool.  So of course we had to look at all the cars before we entered the pool. :-)

Fun in the water.  Andrea loves going to the pool.  I can't decide if it's because she likes the water, which she does, or if it's because of the social aspect.  Andrea LOVES people, especially other kids/babies.  She gets so excited everytime she sees people.

She loves walking in the water.  And just recently when I took her this last Friday she loves to try and swim.  Meaning that she wants me to hold her on the top of the water and she kicks her legs and moves all around the pool.

This picture is priceless.  It reminds me of all the faces Kayla pulls while riding the tube at Lake Powell.  Only one more week until we go, yea!!!!

Andrea crashed about two hours into it.  A little too much fun for a girl who also skipped her morning nap because it was too exciting at the house with Shantel, David, Kayla, and Tyson visiting.

I had to post this picture because this is the face Andrea pulls every time she wants out of the car seat.  She doesn't scream or anything. She just silently holds her breath, arches her back, and reaches her arm out with her hand forming a gun.  She'll do this for several minutes without stopping.  I'm worried she's going to pass out one of these days because she holds her breath for too long. She kept pulling this face at Aunt Kayla hoping she'd pull her out of the car seat.
