The Narrows

This is a picture of Mooker, Steve, and I outside of our beautiful house just after church. Notice the gorgeous flowers on our left. We planted them and they miraculously stayed alive.

We went and hiked the Narrows at Zions National Park on Friday. It was so beautiful! Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip!

Behind us there is a ton of water dripping down the rocks, it was so beautiful!

Look at those handsome boys!

What a cute couple!

Wow, he's flexible!!!

We are catching dripping water that is seeping from the rocks. The bus driver said that they dated the water in the rocks and it had been there 2,000-8,000 years.

My cute husband trucking through the water.

Steve and Mooker slowly going through the deepest part!

Mooker fell in the water. It was pretty hilarious, so we had to get a picture. He said he would definitely win the wet T-shirt contest.

This is a such a beautiful picture! Mooker was very proud that HE took this picture!

This waterfall was right at the beginning of our adventure of hiking up the river.

The waterfall was really tall and very beautiful!

The Derby

The derby was awesome! It was Steve and Mooker's first time ever seeing a derby and they both loved it!!!! Five cars flipped over and lots of dirt was thrown. It was really fun. Thank you Markell for getting tickets for all of us! We were all eating dinner at the house really fast before the derby and suddenly we got a call from Brad Bown (The Fair Director) He said, "Is Kayla coming to sing the National Anthem and ride around the arena and be announced. We had no idea she was supposed to do that, nobody had ever talked to her. So, we hurried and got everything together. Steve, Mooker, and Dad pulled the roof off of the Rubicon and mom and I put the food away. Kayla asked me to sing with her, so we practiced a couple times on the ride over. She rode around the arena while dad drove and of course I missed my "royalty days" so I rode in the passenger seat and waved to everybody as well. ;-) It's fun being Miss Utah's Sister!!! Kayla and I sang the National Anthem and I think we did a pretty good job and then the fantastic derby began!

Steve and I in front of the arena. Don't we look Good!

Mooker, Kayla, Mom, and Dad. Mooker was really sad that his eyes were closed in his one picture with Miss Utah!!

This is an awesome picture Steve got of two cars that flipped over at the same time. The car to the right knocked them both over!

Kayla riding on top of the Rubicon.

And of course the Handsome Driver of the Rubicon.

I had to throw this picture in because it was so random. I was watering the flowers and on my way inside I saw this huge bug on the wall, so of course I started screaming. Steve and Mooker ran outside and we realized that it was a HUGE leaf bug! I have never even seen a leaf bug before. It really is a walking leaf, it's wings are an exact replica

Kelsey's Bridal Shower

I went to Kelsey's Bridal shower on a Friday and Emily said they were going boating the next day, so of course I had to stay a little longer than originally planned so I could join them.

Here's me on the wakeboard.

Here is a picture of all of us recking hard!

Emily and Kelsey are both so beautiful!

The Bridal Shower was very nice.

Roller blading

Look how excited we are to go! :-)

We had to take a picture of our feet to prove that we actually roller bladed!

Steve's New Project

He is building a CNC Router

This is a 3D model of the machine that Steve made so he could figure out the exact measurements he wanted. So this is what the final product will look like.

Here is the inside piece of the little box on the model, it will slide up and down enabling the router to move all directions--up, down, forward, back, and left and right

And here is the box that those wheels hook onto, so the wood in Steve's right hand slides up and down inside of the box in his left hand.

Cami and the kids in Utah!

Cami and the kids stopped by our house on their way to Manti.

Me and the kids after they wrestled with Steve

Cami, Aubrey, and Brooke on our couch.

Steve wrestling with William AND Aubrey!

Steve, Aubrey, and William playing the piano.

The Phillips family went to the Zoo, but it just so happened that I didn't have to go to work that day, so I tagged along.

After lunch all the kids took turns climbing and hanging in the tree. Here is William showing of his climbing skills.

Here is Aubrey smiling just as beautiful as ever.

Here's a picture of William and I at the Bird Show. During the bird show the bird guy was asking a bunch of questions and other workers were holding a poster with the answer behind him. The bird guy called on William and he said, "I'm sorry, but I can't read!" Then Aubrey ran over and told him the answer and he got it right!! It was hilarious!

Beautiful Brooke, man she is growing up fast.

Our home

I'm finally posting pictures of our beautiful home!

Here is my extremely handsome husband posing on our couch! The family that I work for got a new set of furniture, so they were so kind and gave me their old couch which is very nice for us!

Here is the other side of our living room with our wonderful PIANO!!! Mom and Dad Barclay gave it to Ken Lindsi, but they are going to inherit the Peacock's piano, so Ken and Lindsi were so nice and brought the piano to us, Thank you Ken and Lindsi!

Here are the beautiful curtains in our kitchen. When Steve's parents came to visit us they bought us curtains and Steve's mom helped me put all of them up. Thank you Mom and Dad Bentz!

This the part of our house that we are the most proud of. We bought this industrial shelving at Costco and spray painted it red and it fits perfectly in our kitchen and matches wonderfully with our red kitchen Aid mixer that the Bentz family gave us. I know, we are very spoiled everyone is very jealous of us, thank you so much Bentz family!

And here is our Bedroom with the gorgeous quilt Mom Bentz made for us, the "preach my gospel quilt" also known as the "Steve and Tausha Quilt" on the wall to the right, one of my bridal pictures, and a copper mural of the picture of Christ coming to America that Steve got on his mission.

We also have a huge walk in closet in our bedroom, a second bedroom that has now become Steve's "Man Cave", and a really big yard! We are so blessed and so grateful for our beautiful home.
