Steve's Birthday!

He was spoiled by our parents and got a really nice chest to keep his watches in and two new suits, which he will definitely use a lot with his new calling.

Look how handsome he is in this suit! Despite how good he looks in the picture, he looks even better in person!

I had three kringles ordered from O & H Bakery in Wisconsin and had them shipped to our house for Steve's birthday. They were really good. I had to post some pictures on here to see how many mouths I could make water.

His main present from me was an IPod Touch! He may have shown me exactly where to buy it, but either way, he got exactly what he wanted for his birthday. I couldn't keep him off of it for the next two weeks. He's still learning new things that he can do with his IPod every day. Our favorite game on the IPod however is Scripture Golf.

It came in a really cool package, so I had to show a picture of it.

I had a surprise birthday party for Steve. I invited people in the ward and asked our friend Jason to invite Steve's friends from work. Apparently he sent a mass email out to all of the IT people at BYU, so we had a bunch of people show up. I'm glad I bought a lot of food. Ted and Megyn (our neighbors) were nice enough to let us borrow their grill, so we set it up in the back yard and had a BBQ. I tried to have everything ready on time, but of course, that didn't happen, so Steve ended up BBQing for his own party, but that meant that the food was perfect! I bought a ton of bratts, hamburgers, and hot dogs. We also had a lot of fruit and some veggies.

I made a yummy chocolate cake for Steve and made sure that I put 25 candles on it, so Steve could really feel the seriousnes of turning 25, a quarter of a century! :-)


However, after cake all the boys gathered around the grill and roasted marshmellows with plastic forks. I thought it was hilarious, so I had to take a picture.
