May was a very fun month. We celebrated Jessica's 1st birthday, had dance recitals, finished T-ball, killed scorpions, graduated from preschool, and headed up to Manti to start having summer fun with the cousins and spending as much time as we could with Grandma and Grandpa Barclay before they left for their mission.
Highlights from the year:
While watching a Bible video of Jesus being nailed to the cross Rachel said, "Those men are being so mean they need to go in a really long time out." Andrea said, "Yeah for like 6 days."
Rachel got spanked and said, "I'm not gonna cry." with a mean face. Then she started to bawl and wanted to be held. Mommy felt so bad.
Andrea had her last t-ball game. Both girls had pizza and played with the other players and ran through the sprinklers at the park.
Miss Julie at the rec center brought a gymnastics bar and both girls loved it! Andrea was able to pull herself around it and do a back hip circle.
We got a new van and Grandma and Grandpa Barclay came to our house!!!
Mom taught Andrea how to do a left cartwheel and she can do them great.
Andrea found out that she missed singing in sacrament meeting for Mother's Day because she fell asleep. She was so sad that she cried for an hour.
Both girls did a trial class at the USA Gymnastics gym and both tested in to the advanced version for their age.
