April 2015

April was a sad month because we lost Grandma boy, but we were also grateful that she was able to pass and able to be with her other loved ones again and be able to see, hear, and move around again.  It was really nice to get together as a family though and celebrate Easter.  We also found out our dear friend Capri, who is 4-years-old was diagnosed with leukemia.  We were able to visit her at the hospital, decorate and hold a sign for her when she came home from the hospital and Andrea cut her hair so she could be like Capri.

Highlights from the month:
The girls sang so beautifully at Grandma's funeral.
Colette stayed at our house and we colored eggs.
Andrea got to ride bikes with the scouts.  She was able to keep up too.
Both girls are amazing at gymnastics.  I have moms ask me where you take gymnastics at.
Andrea went on a date with Grandma Bentz to a choir concert and out to ice cream.
Andrea has been mean and grumpy a lot, but it's because she's tired.
We decorated Capri's house for when she came home from the hospital.
Daddy's Miata died, so we tried to jump it in the middle of the road, but we fried the battery instead and ended up having to call AAA.
When Rachel prays she says, "Thank you for Rachel, which is me."
Daddy's co-worker from San Jose, Claire, came to visit.  We took her with us to a t-ball game.
You girls have fun with the co-op kids.  We had a dance party and played with chalk.
We put the chin-up bar up in the girls closet.  Andrea and Maddy used it to climb up onto the shelves in the closet.
We Face Timed Grandma and Grandpa Barclay to show them the chin-up bar.
Scouts was at our house. My girls listen as well if not better than the boys.
Rachel was sick a lot off and on this month and the next.

Steve and I took my scouts to the Star Gazing party at the Riparian Observatory.  It was a lot of fun!

Steve made Grandma's beautiful Funeral Programs.  He did such a fantastic job.  Grandma would have loved the bright colors just like I did!

Cheering for Andrea at her T-ball game.

And so the scavenging begins. She will take food from everyone. Especially ice cream.
Jessica started walking a couple weeks before her first birthday.  She pushed the walker around to help her walk and to sweep the floor. She wants to do everything she sees mommy and her sisters do.

The girls helped me paint this jewelry holder.  It turned out awesome!
We went to the zoo with
