Playing outside

Andrea and I go and visit our neighbor downstairs everyday.  Her name is Loydel. We have lots of fun together. She loves Andrea. I was canning this day, so Loydel came outside and played with us. Andrea gets so excited every time we go and see Loydel. It brightens up both of their days. Above is a short clip of Andrea trying to say "cat" and crawling towards the cat.
We've been trying to take advantage of the summer weather before it is gone for another year. We went outside and played for a little bit after dinner the other day. Andrea loves being outside. She crawls all over the grass and tries to play with all the plants. She also loves to crawl up her mom and dad so she can stand up. Here's her crawling up her daddy.
You have to zoom in on this picture. It is soooo cute. They are both smiling so big at each other.
Andrea was just about to give her daddy kisses.
Yes, she loves the flowers. I pulled off all the dead, but still pretty ones and gave them to her to play with. She pulled every single petal off and enjoyed pulling each one. :-)
Steve had to work most of the day the Saturday before school started. Andrea and I knew he had to work, but we still wanted to see him, so we surprised him for lunch and had lunch at the duck pond which is just a short walk from where he works. Andrea loved it. She tries to say duck because she has a bath toy duck. So, the whole time we were there she said, "Du, Du, Du" trying to say duck. It was very short, but very worth it!
We saved some of the crust from our sandwiches to feed to the ducks. Yes, Andrea is a very long and skinny baby. You can definitely tell in this picture. I also added a video.  You can hear her say, "Duck," well her attempt at saying duck at least once on the video. She also loves to bite into tomatoes from the garden and it shows that too.
Grandma and Grandpa Bentz gave Andrea a baby walker. The only problem is Andrea still doesn't get how to walk in it. Instead she will lift her feet up into several different "dance" positions for almost a half hour. She won't cry or anything, she'll just lift her legs up high. She must have very strong stomach muscles after doing that. It was so funny I had to post a picture of it.

I can't believe how big she is getting! Loydel looks a LOT like my Grandma Fox (who passed away almost 2 years ago). I saw the picture on my blog update wall and was WAY confused what she was doing on your blog!
I wish I could see the videos. For some reason our computer won't load blog videos. I LOVED the pictures though. Lily and Andrea should play together sometime! Seriously! We should take them swimming or something before the summer is gone. We're always looking for ways to drag out the summer!
